Saw it today. Very good movie, which I was afraid to see, expected more startling situations (know what I mean?) It was well done and only a one kleenex movie.

I didn't read all the other replies. 180! a lot to absorb. Good luck with your decision. I had both of mine at home but that was the easy part. My sisters (6) all disagreed with me. But my dad said he was born at home and the hospital was no place for a healthy person. After 10 kids and 15 grandchildren my 2nd son was the only child he saw being born and it was really sweet because he was very bonded to him. What was hard for me was nursing but my mother came to my rescue, she lived out of state, but she has some great advice otherwise I would have quit. Happy gestation! and you're gonna love being a mom!

It kinda made me ill at first but I continued and it really made me think about it. He made some very good points worth thinking about. I don't think I want to pledge allegiance anymore.....just saying

Different slant that what we all grew up on. Makes me pause...... Flag day is approaching and I will hang on my flag but I may feel different this time. Something to think about.

NO! My husband & I are very versed in all these things. Seriously, YES I would, in a heartbeat. Anybody can be a programmer, but it takes a lot of guts to be in the trades but it is also exciting and fun. And you get to buy all those cool tools. The world cannot function without the tradesmen! But there are a lot of different jobs and they can be physically demanding. But you sleep good at night. That's the reality.

But how much? Do I need to reserve some cash? It seems impossible that our dollar is really going to crash. I believe it but.....

I do need to read that book! Tricky and risky? I don't think I have the stomach for that kind of risk and I think I would have to pay close attention to what is going on, correct? I'm spread too thin for devotion to anything but my God.

Love a desk jockie commenting on the trades! I could tell you some horror stories. Not to be dooming but there is reality. Plumbers spend major time in crawl spaces, with insulation, vermin, spiders and opossums. Electricians get killed by doing something stupid. (yes, I knew him). Attic work is hot in the summer and freezing in the winter. Roofers fall off roofs. Carpenters smash fingers, saw thru knees and hands, breathe dust, dirt and asbestos, break backs and other bones. My husband the carpenter! 4 surgeries for on the job injuries, never received workman's comp. Disabled at 54! It's not the age, it's the mileage. If you want to be in the trades, you might want to think about affording kids. Not a well paying job. Especially if you need weeks a year off for lack of work or injuries. It's tough. So just be careful with who you hire on with, makes a big difference. I was married to one who ONLY pushed the pencil to sign the checks. Boring! Be smart and save money for the hard times. We are now retired, not living in luxury but we do ok and we have some resources. AND you can ONLY write off that big ass truck if you Own the company! You can write off a portion of your tools and some of your mileage which can be a lot. Pros and cons to all things. My husband ABSOLUTELY loved his job. He comes from a white collar family but always wanted to be a carpenter so he has no regrets. Nor do I and I have worked years in the trades. Painter tiler, Jane of all trades!

You personally need to look up Dr Ken Berry on youtube or rumble and think about a carnivore diet! I've lost 13 pounds, blood pressure down and no more acid reflux, at least for me. Wheat I have found is the origin of the acid reflux. Good old flour!

That's where we (USA) are right now. Is it really a question or are you being rhetorical. I think we all know the answer for the USA.....but Australia?

Soybean oil is the ticket! When I was going through menopause it was suggested to use soy to lessen hot flashes. Hot flashes are caused by the lack of estrogen during menopause. So it would obviously work, but the minute I found out soy stimulated estrogen I was done with it! Menopause is normal. Anyway soy increases estrogen for even men! So naturally......people really need to be aware of the danger of soy bean oil. Look at the ingredients in a jar of Best Foods or Hellman's Mayo. Or any other product you buy and stay away from it !!
