My partner at work told me a story. His buddy was at a popup covid testing place in Romeoville, Ill at an old Kmart. On a hunch he called CDC and asked if that was a legitimate testing facility. They said no. He then confronted the testers with this info. They immediately packed their shit and left.

I'm not sure why they'd bother adding wire/mail fraud to the scope of their crime by sending a random result and also creating a trail back to them. For that to make sense there would need to be some way for them to monetize the person's actions about the result you're sending.
They claim you'll have a result in 15 minutes on the signs so they'd probably just make them wait off to the side probably and then give them a random result after that time period.
