My bet is that there is plenty of footage, but it will be suppressed as it doesn't support the narrative. I won't say the eastern Ukrainian region is representative of the entire Ukraine, but I bet there is plenty of video of the people there welcoming the Russians as liberators, so no way western media will show that.
That being said as Ukrainian troops are pushing Russia out of more western regions, we aren't seeing footage, but I would expect the media to be trumpeting that shit.
It could be that the Ukrainians pushing back is a myth. (Not saying they aren't advancing, but are they beating Russia, or just going in after Russian forces leave after accomplishing a specific objective?). It could be that the Ukrainian military or the Azov battalion are doing some pretty horrific shit that they don't want to get out.
