Not speaking scientifically but I think it's the disposable diapers. I remember 38 years ago looking at the contents of the dehydrated crap they put in them and deciding I wanted grand kids some day. I raised two girls and one son on cloth diapers.
My son was born 28 years ago. He can lift a lawn tractor with one hand, he is a passable mechanic and good engineer. He hunts, can fix just about anything around the house. He knew how to use a socket wrench at 10 months without being shown (no lie). He tiled my bathroom at 16. Loves to camp out and if his penis 28 years ago is any indication, he doesn't lack in that dept either.
Chemicals are bad for us, no matter the convienance. In the case of diapers especially
