But just like Hiroshima shouldn't the test site be a radioactive wasteland? Why would tourists be allowed to visit if it was dangerous? That being said, if I were to go to Trinity how would I prove nuclear explosions occurred there nearly 80 years ago?

It's all green glass, I heard. I've driven by it several times. I've talked to people that visited,but it was many years ago. Google up trinity site,apparently its a crater a half mile wide,the green glass is radioactive they say not to pick it up.

Seeing is believing I guess.....
