A friend of mine was in the US occupation Army after WWII, Japan.

He saw the blast field. He walked there where it happened.

The houses were wiped away. A curious thing was the presence of drill presses amongst the debris.

This one was very real. There may be fakes but this one was real.

How could you explain the glass craters?
