There is a part on the CDC website that’s has exceptions. Personal safety, medical treatment, etc. I would really look into that angle and contact the US Embassy. There’s a chance bc you wouldn’t have time to be vaccinated in order to make it to the funeral. Maybe someone in the embassy can help?
