Blizzard did same thing with World of Warcraft players when CCP (China owns WoW) basically cancelled a top PVP player by perm banning them and taking their already earned prize of 10,000 USD simply because he said he supported the Hong Kong protestors right before the Hoaxid Plandemic.
They prevented customers from closing their accounts, just like here. I waited a few weeks and deleted mine and recovered 50Gb of hard drive space never looking back.
CCP rescinded their punishment by only banning this player for just 6 months and gave them their money back, but damage had already been done.
