I wanted to do a 100,000 mile test drive in one for car and driver magazine but it didn't pan out. It was a standing joke at the time that YUGO was short for you go to hell.

Here in Michigan we know Yugo for the girl who died in one going over the rails of Mackinaw Bridge back in 89.

She's not the only one who lost their life in a Yugo, that poor woman. When the FIAT 500 came out, it sort of reminded me of the Yugo.
