Paul Ryan knows MAGA hates him and loves DeSantis. This looks to me like a purposeful attempt to break DeSantis support and make people question him. The establishment knows the only way to break MAGA support is to sow doubt. As a Floridian, DeSantis has done nothing to make my support waiver and it’s going to take DeSantis personally doing something against Floridas best interest to make me question him. He is the best governor in the nation!
I will accept every good thing DeSantis does but I wont ever trust him. The likelihood he is a Trojan Horse is simply too great. If he were truly on the side of MAGA he would speak forcefully to that like Kari Lake does. But he remains silent on too many key issues.
No I will keep DeSantis at arms length.
