When there’s a lot of posts being made, the exact number any one post will be assigned is essentially random, particularly in the least significant digits. Knowing this, it’s common for 4chan users to assign significance to posts with the repeating final digits, as if a higher power has blessed the contents of the message. Notably, in the 2016 election season the digits (many repeating 7s) predicted that “Trump will win”. Make of that what you will.
