I remember years ago thinking he was totally bonkers...
But then I heard him telling a story about how "they" told him he's "just a rapper" when he wanted to start a fashion line (paraphrasing from years old memory) and that's when I realized I may have been told to think he was crazy and he may have been getting the Trump treatment.
Do I know he's a good guy? Nope. But I believe he's calling out the system because of his very real frustration. A personal precipice that he reached and decided to "do something."
Lone ranger or controlled actor he seems committed to the right side of history. I hope.
