However, I do feel bad for the poor who have no money or way to celebrate. I pray that God provides for them the much-needed nourishment and fellowship on the wonderful day of our Thanks to him and all he provides. There are still many churches; such as mine, who provide food baskets for those less fortunate during the holidays. We should all give what we can to help make this possible. We are all children of God. This is what he wants us to do.

One can enjoy other food and still observe Thanksgiving. We choose something else entirely, since it's just three of us, and we pig out on it. Speaking of which, we need to plan our menu!
