They are stupidly expensive compared to what it costs to make them, and they fail far more often than their bullshit advertising claims. They are ok for a lot of applications, but nobody should be forced to use the damn things if they don't want to.
Forced govt. regulation has killed their [LED bulbs] competition, and that lack of competition has rapidly enabled corporate greed. Now, they build shitty, overpriced products, and the law prevents competition that would advantage consumers.
