My thinking here is, Twitter is a caged bird -- in more ways than one. The most obvious is that its symbol is a bluebird. But, Twitter also censors its users. It does not allow them to "sing."
Remember the old gangster movies with "stool pigeons" that would "sing?"
Sing = Talk
So, by Elon taking over Twitter, he opens the "cage" and allows the "birds" to "sing."

The users can now freely "sing," but so can another group of "birds."
The singing birds could be the upset employees. People under the pressure of losing their jobs may be willing to "sing" to save them.
