Remember the toilet paper shortage? Was it because there was less toilet paper being produced, or was the population struck with dysentery? NO, it was because of talk that everyone needs to stock up.
What is putting pressure on Diesel supplies right now? People again reacting to fake news. They are purchasing diesel to fill their heating oil tanks for the upcoming winter. People are all hearing about how Europe is going to freeze and Xiden will send US supplies to help them, so naturally people are reacting and getting ready. This is not new. In the '72 and '74 Arab oil embargo, almost overnight gas stations ran out of fuel. Why?? Because once the news came out about the embargo, which wouldn't affect the country for 2 months, people drove to the gas station to fill their vehicles. This is what is happening now. Everyone who uses diesel for home heating is filling their tanks to the top.
The only way to verify what is going on is to get data on total diesel produced per month for the past 20 years and see if there has been a drop in production or an increase in sales for the past 3 months compared to the national average.
