Yeah, that's what I also theorized, that the real Truth Social is going to be the Open Sourced Twitter.

It already is open source ;-)

It's based on Mastodon which requires forks and users of it's code to also be open source according to the license.

I sort of expected Truth Social to be federated due to being based on Mastodon - however this has yet to materialize if true.
