Just got back from working the early polls in my NC rural County of roughly 30k registered voters and we are seeing huge numbers of voters for early voting. We even had a line out the door this am.

Now we do have a local Sheriff race that is fairly heated which could account for a lot of the turnout.

OTH I noticed a significant number of Black voters who are designated as Unaffiliated now. There were still a lot of Dems who turned out but they traditionally show up for early voting. (I know this bc my assigned precinct for Election Day is a largely Democrat (Black) precinct and most of them seem to vote early based on the election day turnout there)
