They are freaking out over Elon. What if they get paid per retweet and so they buy all those bots and the bots are going away? Or perhaps they feel their PR contracts for tweeting will be less effective now? OR, they fear getting ratioed beyond belief (which is currently what I'm seeing). Accounts like the Daily Beast used to be able to complain and get rid of us--that's how I got suspended. Perhaps they no longer can do that. Anyway, the palpable fear is glorious !
