I live in a remote area of MN. Saturday night I got an alert on my phone that was for an incident that does not affect my area. Was very excited because I get an alert maybe 2 times a year. I am hoping this constitutes a test of Emergency Broadcast System right before something very important.

I got the same alert -- not in the area, either. But it made my heart skip a few beats!
