I am against the Imposter whining and blaming the oil industry for the problems that he himself called. However, I think there is a point here. We're in an economic situation that includes high energy prices due to scarcity. Make no mistake that scarcity is government mandated and directly the fault of Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. However, the oil companies aren't hurting here. They're posting record profits on the high energy prices, while not investing capital in new drilling. That's a problem. Capitalism allows corporations to make large profits with the understanding that the profits serve as a reward and incentive for future production of high-demand products and services. When that's short-circuited and we don't see the re-investment of profits, I think that's a bad thing.
