The one thing I'll ask in his defense is where did he say he wants to force everyone to become transhuman?

I think I see what you are saying. Forcing has been nowhere mentioned, but having read Brave New World, I could envision a future where babies are implanted with neural lace symbiosis at birth, creating a transhumanist race.
