Heck, they get freaked out if blood is too alkaline!

For example, I took my cat to the vet for a full scan of tests because he was losing weight. Turned it he was just extremely active and needed more calories. Gave him more food and the 'ol boy just packed on 3 pounds of muscle!

The only warning they gave us was that his blood Ph level was too high at 7.8 and suggested we changed his diet to lower it. Nope. We just gave him more of the same.

Now I read this and oh heck! No wonder why he is so healthy!! No disease can survive in such a high blood Ph!!!
