President Trump has been 'burned' by so many of those he trusted that he doesn't put his 'full trust' into anyone anymore. I can't say as I blame him. It is his way of finding out who 'truly' is with him and not who's going to 'stab him in the back.' So to speak.

There is another post on GAW that goes into more detail.

Basically, RINO's that want to prevent a return of President Trump have been recruiting DeSantis to run against him... and the word is it seems to be working.

If they can't get DeSantis, their second choice is Youngkin.

Thanks. But I don't think DeSantis would stand a chance. Matt and Mercedes Schlapp of CPAC I don't believe would allow him to be the chosen Republican candidate. He would have to run a primary against Trump and I don't believe he would win it simply from seeing the throngs of people who attend Trump Rallies. I know DeSantis draws crowds of people; but I don't think it's as many as Trumps. I'm not worried.
