One day an American died and was sent to the gates of heaven. Peter was at the gate and examined his life. He concluded that while he did some good things there was also some sin in his life that was questionable. After consulting with God, Peter informed him that he was to spend one day in heaven and one day in hell and then decide where he was to spend eternity.

On his day in heaven, he walked around and saw an endless group of people living in peace and contentment. Every need was fulfilled, everyone had something to do, and there was no sadness to be found anywhere.

On his day in hell, he attended a party as he had never experienced on earth. The music was hot, an endless parade of beautiful women asked him to dance, and the food and drink were the best he had ever experienced and he felt the best buzz he had ever felt. A special girl even gave him the best sexual fulfillment he had ever experienced. As he was leaving, he even saw Satan himself out on the dance floor with two beautiful women.

The next day, he appeared before Peter and told him he was choosing hell. In a flash, he was in hell only now it was different. Everyone there was being tortured and writhing in unbearable pain. They were tormented by every extreme level of climate, and all food and drink were in the worst imaginable case of spoilage and only delivered more pain. The American was immediately stripped naked and given his first round of torture. On one moment as he was crying out, he saw Satan walking by. He cried out to him, "Satan, what about the great party that was here yesterday?"

Satan responded, "Yesterday I was campaigning. Today, you voted."

America, if you haven't already, you vote tomorrow and Satan is on the ballot. Please vote Biblically.

I want to apologize to my brothers and sisters in Christ for presenting a story with an untrue premise on the way of salvation. As you read this story, I hope you can understand that the premise was necessary to make the point.
