All I will say is he’d better grow a pair and start acting like a Texas governor instead of a half ass rhino.
He’s 1000% better than Beto would ever be, but he really needs to start being proactive instead of reactive. He seems to do things as an after thought. Yes, I do live in Texas.
I live in Texas too, I know our governor is a RINO, but at least this RINO hasn't turned his back on President Trump like other RINOs have.

Abbott is a career politician. He flips to a RINO for a couple years then flips back when it politically suits him
This. He plays the field. He gives the absolute minimum to Texas and the absolute minimum to the DerpState -- because there is a power struggle and he navigates it expertly.
He's a consistent predictable defensive player. He will survive the game and wait for the strongest player to win, then he will say he was on the winning side all along.
He's not just a minion though. This guy keeps his allegiances and thoughts guarded. He's much more dangerous than he appears.

There are those of us who left those states because of how they voted. I came back to Texas to escape all the bullshit that was happening after the “inauguration.” My point is not everyone who fled will vote the way they voted in the blue states they fled from.
