Gubernare mentes = mind control.
The root word of government or Govern Minds. This is why governments exist. Q served its purpose, but we are still waiting for an event that we ourselves did not cause. It cannot work like this.
Get up and start doing your bit to serve or we continue to de-serve what we get.
Am I dooming? I don't think so. But I'm not blowing hot air up your pipes either. Be the warrior NOW. The world waits on you.
If you are unsure of how to "serve", disengage immediately. The news cycle has a grip on your mind.
What is governments job? I think governments were instituted mainly to protect our shores, so if we were attacked, say the Tongans got fed up with our shit and invaded us, the government would call up the military and repel the invaders. It is also helpful for things like international commerce, regulation of currency, and other things that pertain to international relations and intellectual property rights.
Something happened, though, and now people depend on the government. People think they will not have to worry, they can eat, they have the food stamp card, they get their check every month. If I had to depend on the federal government for my livelyhood and my next meal, well, that is about the most frightening thing I can think of. Right there is the perfect example of why socialism isn't an ideology that works in government. All it does is make people dependant.
We are supposed to be the government, not professional politician grifters.
Locally, my area produced the greatest set of outsider candidates I've ever seen, and they won school board, sheriff, council, state house and senate... Even US Senate. All the new blood is made up of business people, educators, working people. The judges are lawyers, but not politicians. The lawmen are lawmen, not gladhanders. This is how we do it, bottom up, inspiring and helping real people take on higher responsibility (they don't want it, it's hard, but they're the most capable), and we must support them in all ways as they do it. Run interference, help their families, donate, work the neighborhoods, go to the meetings, etc.
