I hate to be a bring down bummer right now, but New Mexico is a compete disaster. The Demcrat Cabal won Governor; Lt. Gov; All 3 US House Seats; Sec of State; Atty Gen; State Treasurer; State Auditor; the 2 open Supreme Court seats, and Land Commissioner. The whole enchilada, it's disgusting!

New Mexico is one of the most corrupt states in the country. Home to Epstein's ranch, it's still controlled by the same criminal families it has been for years. Now the Hollywood elite have a strong interest in it, too, since Bill Richardson gave them tax breaks and everyone wants to film there. Right, Alec Baldwin?
The only reason you don't hear about it more often is because the population is so tiny and everyone who lives there just accepts that it's a miserably blue shithole controlled by Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Crime, drugs, and poverty are insane. The general population is highly apathetic and it will never change.

Edited to add that their gubernatorial candidate was a poor choice. He's a former Albuquerque weatherman who unsuccessfully ran for senator two years ago and did NOT get on the Trump train at that time. A very weak guy and totally non-motivating for voters. If that was their best shot, it's no wonder they lost.
We know all this, and the weatherman was in third place in the primaries and all of a sudden he is our candidate! WOW, I wonder how that happened? Professor David Clemens has been fighting like a badger with his legal knowledge and I do think the war isn't over for America, to include New Mexico. I'm too old and tired to move!
I hear you. We got lucky and were able to move away a couple of years ago. I pray that God shines a light on New Mexico. It's one of the most beautiful states in the country but there's so much darkness there.
