Sounds like some people need to read The Real Lincoln by Thomas DiLorenzo. Lincoln was the worst elected president in the history of the US. You can thank him for all of the lousy presidents we've had since him and the over-reaching Federal Government. He was also the first president to enact income tax, although that was done away with afterwards (until 1913, that is.) The civil war had NOTHING to do with slavery, it was about destroying state sovereignty.

Read the Confederate Constitution, let me know how many times it says the word “slavery”. Then come back to me and tell me it wasn’t about slavery.
