If I make a football analogy, its like having 1 person be the offensive coordinator for one team and the defensive coordinator for another at the same time. Everything is great until the 2 teams face each other. Where do the loyalties go in a situation like that.

With an "America First" policy, maybe now it makes more sense why our elected officials so vehemently reject that notion even though that's the job for the office they hold.

Major corporations take their shareholders into account more than our country currently takes their citizens. When our country is viewed as a corporation, then it's clear the politicians do not see the citizens are shareholders.

Who would the shareholders be then if not the citizens?
