I believe DeSantis knows this and will not run. He will stand behind Trump and try to prove himself worthy of Trump’s support for 2028, unless Trump decides not to run in 2024. I believe somehow a Trump will be back as President in Jan. 2023, and run in 2024, if his health permits.
