On Tuesday night, Masto had about 405k votes. Laxalt had about 425k. This, with ~79% of the vote counted. Both are now at 48% of the vote (edit: 96% of all votes counted), Masto with a .5% lead on Laxalt. Can we get recount, please? Maybe without tech glitches and Unions curing signatures??
With Lombardo winning against Sisolak (Gov race), this tells me Gov was not as important to the cheaters as getting that Senate majority. Likewise, Marchant probably lost the SOS race, which would have helped Nevadans oust Dominion machines.
A sad, albeit expected, outcome.
Regardless, Sisolak is out and we have a red Lt Gov (+1 gain for Repubs). Maybe some good can come from this, along with some much needed attention on the corruption that is the State of Nevada.
I would also like to add that, hopefully, Laxalt is a fighter and won't concede. I'd like to see a politician stand up for Nevadans, for once.
