I think she sounds a bit scared as she knows what she has helped coordinate to kill us off. As this is biblical, then she is the First Horseman of the Apocalypse and it's not looking too good for her. That's why she is afraid for her life and she knows it will most likely become a short one. As the Lord says, "YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW."
