Yup! They said it was a legal thing required by NJ for the gas. When they replaced it, the bill was $900. I filed a complaint and they tested the meter and I got a credit.
I wrote a letter to the electrical company telling them that they need to replace it because of EMP and health.
They said to replace, they need $50 bucks and every month, 20 for meter reading. I said fine.
The bill dropped by 1/4 to 1/2 every month.
