Something that worries me is him saying "hopefully" like he doesn't know. Usually he's the type to never show even a hint of doubt.

No, he often uses terms like “hopefully” for plausible deniability.

When has something GEOTUS ever said not come to pass? But by keeping it ambiguous he covers his back, shines a light/magnifies what he’s drawing attention to, all the while inevitably coming to fruition.
