Bank wire system down?

I just got a call from a friend who has been trying to do large bank wire for escrow for the past several business days. The bank told her the whole wire system has been down, but they don’t know why. This is the first I’ve heard of this, maybe someone here knows something.

I sent and received multiple wire transfers today. No issues.

I have not heard this... wouldn't surprise me if there are issues someplace though. Probably not the entire system.
