I mean it's not a coup or an overthrow, the Australian parliament and it's ministers serves/served the queen.
It's honestly not a government by the people for the people.
The queen was well within her legal powers and rights to sack any minister in the Australian parliament.
...I have been reading about this the last hour or so and what I can glean from that is this chap was set up and given the boot on false pretenses....

Of course, if from what suspect, the cabal has dictated UK policy for a long while, which means that the queen probably sacked Whitlam on the advice of cabal stooges.
What ever he was doing went against the cabals plans, they had to get rid of him.
