And I’m not being a smart ass here, or trying to prove anything, I’m genuinely curious as to why there hasn’t been even a small protest In our streets. Americans are not unfamiliar with protesting, although certainly not as keen on it as the Europeans.
A friend who lives in Greece asked me this and I came up with several answers, but they seemed a little lame.

I think bc we're complacent, behind our phones, afraid of looking weird. My shower thought last night was maybe I will start standing outside my Governor's Mansion with my "Action" resting on my shoulder 16 hours a day for the next 45 days to see if anyone will join me... am I committed to not doing my job for that? Likely no. But it's a thought.
