And I’m not being a smart ass here, or trying to prove anything, I’m genuinely curious as to why there hasn’t been even a small protest In our streets. Americans are not unfamiliar with protesting, although certainly not as keen on it as the Europeans.

Too many smaller, separate outcomes, some of which have been slow-rolled with different timings. The Brazilian election had one main outcome, which was announced within a reasonable, predictable window of time.
