Optics are crucial. Even if 45 announces running in 24, the main purpose will be for optics. Sure, he's gonna run in 24 regardless, but some of the derp staters will interpret that as 45 "giving up on 20 and 22". No way will that happen, it can't happen. Trust Trump till the end.
