edit::Not referring to carter/corridor:: He tripped up words or phrases about 4 times or so before announcing candidacy.

It could be his old age... it could have meaning.

He repeated it 4 times in successive different sentances/statements with no stuttering or other indicator of a messed up word choice. It was very purposeful in his delivery if you watched it.

I was not referring to the carter/corridor instance.

There were other instances of word mangling, sentence structure flub. I'm not criticizing, just saying they occurred. Nuggets to re-listen and analyze.
