As opposed to "appearing" strong but not having the goods?

When Trump said he would teach Republicans how to win, I'm starting to think he didn't mean politicians. He meant all the whiny little bitches who tuck tail when we win, but don't win hard enough. The ones who "cant keep going on like this" because we "appear" weak, when we know full well that "appearances" are all the dems have. Optics are important but we can't win if we're expecting the media to portray us accurately before we do.

Roe V. Wade alone gives me a decade's worth of hopium and resolve, but maybe that's lost on those who haven't been watching the issue, praying and seeing it as hopeless for decades.
