Serious question. How can we trust our vote means something anymore?

I read these words about 2022. I hope you're right, but that seems ridiculous to me. There's no clear path to cleaning anything up. I'm not even sure we'll hold the house - if we end up with 1-2 seat majority look for some republicans to flip parties. Without the "wave" we are still very much on defense.
