My reflection on this: The Snowden case was pre-Trump. It was favorable for Russia then, to let Snowden speak. Now Trump also was cool with Putin, same as Bolsonaro. Snowden is still safe there but no more a figure of intrest to Russia... Certainly there was a deal. Putin just saved at least two Crops in Brazil via the fertilizer deal Bolsonaro managed to fix right in the eye of the War. (Pretty audacious move, btw.)
