On Tuesday morning November 8, 2022 at approximately 7:58 AM and 8:06 AM at Desert Foothills Methodist Church 2156 E. Liberty Lane in Phoenix, AZ 85048, I walked inside Entrance A to drop off my ballot. I was "greeted" at the entrance to the room where the voting machines and various ballot boxes numbered 1, 2, and 3 were located. Before crossing the threshold of the room, I was met by an African American man, without a name tag or I.D. asking to see my envelope. He stated he was "just checking to see that my envelope was properly signed and dated". At the time I thought that was odd and inappropriate behavior, as that has never happened in 11+ years of voting. He approached me, I did not approach him or anyone else asking for assistance of any kind. After "reviewing" the envelope he motioned and guided me by moving me to deposit my ballot in a large box in the front entrance on the left side labeled with a yellow color 3. I could see boxes 2 and 3 in the center of the room. In retrospect, this man interfered and influenced how and where I deposited my signed and dated ballot.
(I did share this with the Lake attorneys)
