Imo Desantis will get all these people to back him and he will be the one who wins the GOP nominee.

Why? Desantis is mixed up with the exact same people Trump has been mixed up with. Where by proxy or direct connection. It's the same circle.

Desantis cannot be bullied like the rest of the GOP candidates can. He is a younger Trump and that is how they will play it. The difference being, and this may hurt some of your feelings, Desantis is far more articulate than Trump is when expressing his thoughts and addressing reporters.

Desantis will point to Florida being the example of just how much of a winner he is.

He will point to his age being a major factor.

Desantis will also appeal greatly to people who are sick of democrats and looking for a guy who comes off as reasonable and more importantly, is not meme material like Trump has been for years especially after 2016. Not only that but conservatives who don't like Trump will 1000% vote for Desantis and there are a lot of them.

IMO this is the play the DS is going to hammer. I've not made up my mind that Trump isn't in on it yet. There some things that I see that makes him a perfect controlled opposition character (which I believe is what Desantis is 100%)
