Frens, while I mostly stay away from Disney, recommend you give Andor a view. It is unlike anything else in the Star Wars universe and is something I think many of you will relate to.
The central theme is setting up a resistance movement in the face of overwhelming totalitarian tyranny. Without giving away plot - Luthen’s speech may be one of the best monologues on the modern screen, and sums up what is in it for us. It is powerful. If you do not watch anything else pull it up on YouTube.
There are many other character types that you see that all have their part in rebellion - the idealist, a disenchanted trooper, politicians, self serving opportunists, unlikely heroes, cowards, villains and the central character who I would argue is a normie just trying to make it and keeps getting drawn in.
Fair warning - it is slow and intense. Not a kids show. There is a lgbt relationship that remains as an undercurrent but not in your face.
If found the things Luthen said in Episode 11: what has he sacrificed quite interesting, as well as that sleeper agent in the IBS. ....
I would add: Obi-Wan-Kenobi. ....
It is amazing how resistance to oppression by the cabal is portrayed.
