Essentially it's a Man In The Middle Attack with a Cell Tower and phone.

This is why you should be weary of where exactly you take your main phone/ Sim Card. This tech and also card payments is how they went after people who where in DC jan 6th.

This tech also doesn't work with Satelite Phones.

I only Use Uber via Paypal and that only when no choice. I don't drive and sometimes the bus doesn't come.
