Sincere Question: Why Did They Sell Twitter?

If it was such an important cog on the disinformation wheel, why would the Deep State risk selling it? They said it was a powerful tool in elections, too. How and why did this go down? Would the Deep State risk letting truth shine in any corner?

Agree completely but I love the exchange of ideas as it’s about building a knowledge base to understand machinations of the “deep state” vs the rest of humanity. DS is not a monolith but a central core and many useful idiot type rank and file.
