There is a line from one of his books that I have been thinking about lately as it seems appropriate to our times. It is from the book Thinner, which was originally a Bachmann book. The mafia guy, I think his nane was Ginelli, tells the protagonist that 'the definition of an asshole is a guy who doesn't believe what he's seeing'.

I am waiting for the appropriate tweet to toss that one back to him.
